What we teach
Creative Dance
The youngest dancers discover what their bodies can do. Spatial awareness, rhythm, listening, imagination — all through play. This is where the love of dance begins. All beginners welcome.
Creative Dance
More structure, vocabulary, and creative challenge. Rooted in contemporary/modern foundations — coordination, musicality, body awareness, and the beginning of composition. All beginners welcome.
Dance 1: Contemporary
Real technique begins here. Alignment, coordination, spatial awareness, rhythm, and the beginning of composition. Students build strength and skill progressively. All beginners welcome.
Dance 2: Contemporary
Technique deepens. Strength, flexibility, improvisation, and compositional vocabulary. Group choreography and artistic feedback in every class.
Dance 3: Contemporary
For teens ready for serious training. Strength, technique, performance quality, and creative voice. Students considering university dance arrive at auditions already prepared.
Performance Dance: Jazz & Ballet
Jazz and Ballet technique for students who want more stage experience and stylistic range. Performance quality, musicality, and confidence front and center.
Ballet
Classical ballet foundations taught in a supportive and creative environment. Emphasis on strength, alignment, posture, and musicality — building a technical base that deepens every other form of dance.
Adult Contemporary
With Angela Banchero-Kelleher — 17-year member of Repertory Dance Theatre and UVU Professor. Wednesday evenings. Open to all adults. This is the real thing.
