Professor of Dance and Dance Education Program Coordinator at Utah Valley University Amy is a dedicated dance educator and versatile artist currently serving as the Dance Education Program Coordinator at Utah Valley University (UVU). Alongside her academic role, she runs the Mapleton Dance Center for children and teens, where she fosters the love of dance in the next generation.

Raquel Miller
Ballet Instructor
Raquel trained at Jacqueline's School of Ballet and performed with Utah Metropolitan Ballet. She attended the University of Utah on scholarships, performing in Les Sylphides and Carmen, before transferring to Utah Valley University. Raquel performed with the Repertory Ballet Ensemble and Complexions Contemporary Ballet. She will graduate with a BFA in Ballet in 2025 and plans to continue performing.

Holly Perkins
Instructor- Creative, Modern/Contemporary
Holly Perkins grew up in Lehi, Utah and began her training at In Motion Dance Studio at age seven. Her passion for dance was sparked and she began teaching Modern and Jazz at In Motion Dance Studio when she was 15, teaching there for many years after. She has been recognized for her work in many choreography festivals, including the Utah Shakespeare Festival, where she received the 1st Place Award for her work for 5 consecutive years. Her most recent work, titled “rove. gaze.” was selected for the 2023 National Conference for the American College Dance Association held at the Carpenter Center for Performing Arts in May 2023. Holly graduated in May 2022 from Utah Valley University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Modern Dance, along with an Associate in Science in University Studies.

Angie Banchero- Kelleher
Adult Modern/Contemporary
Angela has had a professional career that has spanned over 25 years. She continues to perform, choreograph, and teach across the nation. Angela's research interests include Dance as a Vehicle for Social and Political Activism and Community Building Through Dance. Angela serves as the President of the Utah Academy of Sciences Arts and Letters and will be leading a workshop at the Bonderman Field Station/Rio Mesa with colleagues from the University of Utah exploring the capacity of movement to develop a deeper connection to nature.
