One pursuit. Three dimensions. A lifetime of reward.
Technique that grounds
A body that knows how to stand, move, balance, and carry itself — built from the first class, strengthened over years. Strong bodies build strong people. This is where everything starts.
Curiosity that grows
Dance demands focus, memory, pattern recognition, and creative problem-solving in every single class. A dancer's mind is always working — and that sharpness carries into school, into work, into life. Creative work in every single class.
Joy that stays
When a child masters something hard and beautiful — something they made with their own body — they stand differently. They speak differently. They believe in themselves differently. That confidence is the whole point.
MDC's teaching is grounded in the National Core Arts Standards in Dance, the NDEO Standards for Dance in Early Childhood, and the principles of daCi — Dance and the Child International.

Your child's body is the instrument. MDC teaches them to play it brilliantly.
MDC is not a typical dance studio. It is a professional training ground where physical skill is taken seriously — and where developing that skill develops the whole dancer. Led by Amy Markgraf — tenured UVU Professor, Anatomy & Kinesiology instructor, internationally recognized choreographer, and one of Utah's most credentialed dance educators. Amy's teaching has been recognized at the local and national level — her students consistently arrive at university programs and professional auditions exceptionally well prepared.
At MDC your child receives the same caliber of training offered at university programs. Amy's background in Anatomy and Kinesiology means technique is taught not just artistically but anatomically — building real strength in growing bodies the right way. Small classes. Max 12 students. Genuine care. Extraordinary results.
We don't do trophies. We build dancers who are that moves with skill, a mind that thinks creatively, and a spirit that believes in itself. That's what dance, taught well, does.
🏆 University-Level Training
MDC students arrive at university auditions already trained in the methodology those programs require — quality recognized by local and national professionals.

We measure success by growth, creativity, and joy — not trophies. Come see it for yourself. No commitment required.
We develop the whole child through the disciplined joy of dance — connecting body, mind, and spirit to build technical excellence, creative confidence, and the transferable skills that shape who a dancer becomes long after they leave the studio.
Ages 3 to adult · Every background · Every body · All welcome.
Joy
Dance should feel like the best part of your week.
Our studio is warm, playful, and full of laughter — because joy is not the reward for dancing well. It is the reason.
Creativity
Every dancer is an artist.
Our classes move between structured technique and open exploration — building tools for self-expression while honoring each dancer's unique way of moving in the world.
Community
MDC is for everyone.
Every age, every background, every body. We are a small studio with a big heart — where dancers know each other's names and cheer each other on.
Caring
We see the whole child.
Every student at MDC is known, valued, and genuinely challenged — in a space where growth is celebrated, effort is honored, and every dancer truly belongs.
