What's included
Policies & Expectations
Attendance
Consistent attendance helps every student grow and keeps the class community strong. Please email Amy if your dancer will miss a class. We do not offer make-up classes for individual absences, but we understand that life happens.
Dress Code
Comfortable, form-fitting dancewear in any color. Leggings, leotards, fitted shorts or jazz pants all work well. Bare feet or dance shoes for class — no street shoes on the spring floor. Hair pulled back for older dancers.
Drop-off & Pick-up
Please drop off and pick up your dancer on time. Classes start and end promptly so the next class can begin without delay. Early pick-up or late drop-off disrupts the learning environment for all students. Parents are not present during class for any age group.
Observation
We hold observation weeks during the season so families can see what their dancer is working on — dates will be communicated by email. Outside of observation weeks, parents do not stay during class for any age group. Students focus best and develop independence more quickly without an audience.
Photography & Video
A photography, video, and liability waiver is included in the JackRabbit registration process. All families must complete this waiver before their dancer's first class. Photography and video by families is welcome during observation weeks and the Spring Concert only.
Communication
Amy communicates with families primarily by email. Please make sure your email address is current in JackRabbit. For urgent matters, call or text 801-830-4744.
